My name is Jessica Villalta Byrne.

I graduated in 2003 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Wittenberg University. During my undergraduate career I focused on Painting and Illustration as my Major. I also obtained a Minor in Art History and a Minor in Business Management. I spent a semester in Cortona, Italy studying and creating artwork for 4 months. I did extensive traveling in Tuscany and Northern Italy and also visited many other parts of Europe after my program ended.

Following graduation, I attended the University of Denver to complete The Denver Publishing Institute, a graduate program developed around the Publishing Industry.

I graduated with my Master’s of Science in Marketing and Communications from Franklin University in September of 2012. There I completed several Marketing and Communication Plans for clients. I have a passion for art and studying human behavior. I’m¬†fascinated by how visuals and communications influence people and their decisions¬†and hope to keep pursuing my interests in my work and research.

I presently work for McGraw-Hill as a Media Supervisor and have been with the company for over 8 years. I also provide freelance marketing consultation on brand strategy and positioning for small businesses.
