My name is Jessica Villalta Byrne.
I graduated in 2003 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Wittenberg University. During my undergraduate career I focused on Painting and Illustration as my Major. I also obtained a Minor in Art History and a Minor in Business Management. I spent a semester in Cortona, Italy studying and creating artwork for 4 months. I did extensive traveling in Tuscany and Northern Italy and also visited many other parts of Europe after my program ended.
Following graduation, I attended the University of Denver to complete The Denver Publishing Institute, a graduate program developed around the Publishing Industry.
I graduated with my Master’s of Science in Marketing and Communications from Franklin University in September of 2012. There I completed several Marketing and Communication Plans for clients. I have a passion for art and studying human behavior. I’m fascinated by how visuals and communications influence people and their decisions and hope to keep pursuing my interests in my work and research.
I presently work for McGraw-Hill as a Media Supervisor and have been with the company for over 8 years. I also provide freelance marketing consultation on brand strategy and positioning for small businesses.
